Obituary

Mr. CHEN MAN CHUING , Special invited vice chairman of China Sewing Machinery Association, vice chairman of Shanghai Sewing Machinery Association, chairman of CHEE SIANG INDUCTRIAL CO., LTD., chairman of CHEE SIANG SEWING MACHINE (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD., passed away on March 2, 2023 caused of illness in Taipei at 22:35 at the age of 80.

Mr. CHEN MAN CHUING was born in Yanshui District, Tainan City, Taiwan on September 11, 1944. He has been devoted to the sewing machinery industry for 57 years since he was 23 years old, and endeavor his life to the research and development of sewing machine, making outstanding contribution to the development of Chinese sewing machinery enterprises and the industries.

Mr. CHEN MAN CHUING successively founded CHEE SIANG INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD., CHEE SIANG SEWING MACHINE (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD. and many other internationally renowned sewing machinery companies. He has worked hard for the development of the industry and the welfare of the employees, kept his promise, and modest. Especially for the economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between the two sides of the strait have struggled for a lifetime, with outstanding achievements and exemplary behaviors, which will shine through the future! The directors, supervisors and all employees of the company expressed their deep condolences for the passing of Chairman CHEN MAN CHIUNG, and expressed their deep condolences to his family.

The death of Chairman CHEN MAN CHUING will not affect the quorum of the company's board of directors, nor will it affect the normal operation of the company's board of directors, and the company's production and operation will proceed normally and orderly. According to the provisions of the "Articles of Association" and the resolution of the board of directors, Mr. CHEN GUAN-HUA, a shareholder of the company, will take over the position of chairman.
